The Lord extolled for His majesty [splendour]
v.1
The
Lord
reigns,
he is robed in majesty;
the Lord is robed in majesty and armed
with strength;
indeed, the world is established, firm
and secure.
v.2,3
The Lord directly addressed for His eternal rule over all things
& peoples
v.2
Your
throne was established long ago;
you are from all eternity.
v.3
The
seas have lifted up, Lord,
the seas have lifted up their voice;
the seas have lifted up their pounding
waves.
v.4
The Lord extolled for His greatness over all else
v.4
Mightier
than the thunder of the great waters,
mightier than the breakers of the sea –
the Lord on high is mighty.
v.5
His eternal laws & holiness endue His ‘house' with glory
v.5
Your
statutes, Lord,
stand firm;
holiness adorns your house
for endless days.
[Additional
Comments: The simplicity of these five verses is, in
reality, profound and evey line is worthy of meditation, reflection
and then produce worship.
