Psalm 150: The final call to praise the Lord
Comments: The simplicity of this psalm prohibits us
making any further comment beyond the heading-leaders given.
WHERE praise should be appearing
God [i] in
praise him [ii] in
his mighty heavens.
WHY it should be coming forth
him [i] for
his acts of power;
praise him [ii] for
his surpassing greatness.
HOW it should be coming forth
him with the sounding of the trumpet,
praise him with the harp and lyre,
him with tambourine and dancing,
praise him with the strings and pipe,
him with the clash of cymbals,
praise him with resounding cymbals.
From WHO it should be coming forth
everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Comments: A fitting conclusion to the psalms.]
