FRAMEWORKS:
1 Chronicles 16: Celebrating
before the ark in Jerusalem
[Introductory
Notes: In stark contrast to the almost casual way they
had sought to bring the ark to Jerusalem previously, and the ark
having now been brought to Jerusalem in a right manner, David
now does everything he can to ensure that honour is given to the
Lord, both before the ark in the tent in Jerusalem, and in the
Tabernacle still in Gibeon. Everything in this chapter speaks
of order and correctness.]
