Phil 4:19 And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.

Paul has just been thanking the Philippians for the gifts that they have sent to him. Almost as if they might now be worrying about what they gave, perhaps giving out of limited resources, he reassures them with this verse. It is an unconditional word for generous givers, because that is what they were.

Will God meet everyone's needs? Well yes, if their hearts are given over to Him and their lives are given over to Him. It is what He desires for all people, not just one or two special people. It's not because He wants subservience but because He knows He cannot bless people who are working in the opposite direction to what He knows is best for them. It's not that He doesn't want to; it's that if they are living in a way that is contrary to His design for them, then their lives are naturally going to be ‘going wrong'. So, yes, in one sense there is actually a condition that goes with this promise, and the condition is that you let God guide and direct your life completely and then He will be able to bring into your life all of the blessings that He has on His heart for you.

It's an amazing promise isn't it! Whatever needs we have (not desires), He will meet them and He will be able to do that because Jesus on the Cross dealt with every negative issue over your life and so as you respond to Him, the Lord can bring everything you need to your life. Incredible!
